Here at Northern Pine Kennels, we recently put in a training field (Field of Dreams) where our club, Blackstar Working Boxer Club, trains in the sport of schutzhund (tracking, obedience, and protection). This is a branch club from the USA Boxer Association, although we are an all breed club.

We train on Sundays most of the year. If anyone is interested in coming to one of our training sessions, please call ahead of time 989-469-3236 or e-mail me at: timdog@centurytel.net to make arrangements. Please do not just show up.

Blackstar Working K-9 Boxer Club members are hoping to host our first schutzhund club trial in the fall of 2009.

If any of you think you may be interested in teaching your dog tracking, obedience, and/or protection work and think you would like to compete, the Blackstar Working K-9 Boxer Club could be a club you may be interested in checking into. We have a lot of fun training our dogs but we are serious about our training at the same time.
